This bowl is hand cut and turned from all natural greenwood. The coloring is found deep within the wood and carefully turned to present the best look for each bowl. This is hand rubbed with numerous coats of wipe on polyurethane and then hand polished with all natural Carnauba Wax. Once the finish is cured the surface is perfectly safe for occasional food contact which makes it very practical around the kitchen or dining room for presenting fruit or other food items. Hand wash with mild soap and water and dry immediately afterwards. From time to time apply a cutting board conditioner or bees wax and rub to a smooth finish.
