I got this to present a beautiful, but economical, pearl necklace to my mother and it did not disappoint! The necklace came wrapped in a ziplock bag inside of a small cardboard box and that presentation really didn't do the necklace any justice. Enter this elegant gift box...and TA-DA! My relatively inexpensive gift was elevated to something that looked more expensive than it was! These boxes are very well-constructed and the hinge has the proper amount of resistance to it, keeping the box either open or closed as desired. The muted-gold PU covering is not garish or flat, but pleasant to look at, soft to the touch, and feels like real leather. The box itself is sized just right to display a necklace elegantly, using the notched insert and/or minute clip to hold your jewelry securely. I am very happy with this purchase. ALICIA APPROVED.
