This product is exactly what I was looking for. It is small enough to fit under the front seat of my car and large enough to my pistol while traveling. There is still room for other items. The other thing I like most about this product is that it has a very heavy cable that is very flexible and 48 inches long. When it's under my seat, there is plenty of length on the cable to bring the box up to a very convenient locking/unlocking position. I like this product so much that I'm going to order another one for my other car.Seems very well built. The Achilles Heal would be the cable. I would guess a heavy bolt cutter could easily cut the cable , but I believe it would deter any " smash and grabbers ". Overall it looks like a good value.Best way to store my gun in my car. Really like it. Strong and compact.Maybe a little bigger would be great to add an item if neededHeavy duty. I like it. Got my value for the money. TIP: Don't order too small. Thought I was going too big and it turned out to be just right.Have lock boxes in all my vehicles. Bought this one as a last minute gift for my over the road truck driver family member. He said he feels much better being able to secure his firearm when he can't carry it at certain locations instead of "locking" it in the glove boxThis is a must to have if you conceal carry as on occasion you will have to leave your gun in a vehicle.This safe is excellent for travel. Keeping fire arms and valuables safe and secure in your vehicle. ? ?I was very pleasantly surprised how heavy duty this lockbox is. The enamel paint finish is flawless and feels very tuff. There are multiple layers of foam to allow for different thicknesses of your stuff. Steel cable is very strong and heavy duty. It is perfectly sized for a P226 and 2 spare magazines.My only complaint is that there are no pre-drilled holes in the bottom to allow you to screw it down.
