I’m not sure if this works or not. I give this to my cats about 1-2 times per week for maintenance (it’s pricey). But I bought it because I researched feline probiotics online, and this one came highly rated. My cats were experiencing urinary problems which I resolved with another UT support product, and afterward I wanted to use this to just keep their internal flora good to minimize further problems and build immunity. I’m afraid to give it to them every day (not only because it would become expensive for me with 2 cats - not gonna lie), but also I’m cautious about overloading them with something that might upset their stomachs. My philosophy with supplements (even for myself) is restraint and not loading up on them. Recently I became very busy and forgot to give them this for several weeks. One of my cats started to develop diarrhea (my cats have never had diarrhea). I started to give them the probiotic 2 times per week again, and the diarrhea went away. Did it go away because of this product, or the issue resolved itself on its own? I have no idea! But I will keep using it - and when mixed into their food, they eat it with no problem.Well, I like it..but I'm surprised that my little chubby ballarina "Nina" doesn't that much. I have been using one packet every day for the past 2 weeks and she's mildly into it - she usually eats anything but with this? She's like "Um...yeah..okay..it's all right.' I was hoping it would help my cat with her anal gland problems (she scoots on the floor) but so far I am not seeing her scoot less - maybe she just needs more time. So far, my other 3 cats jump up on the cat coffee table to eat it and seem to like it better than her. I think this is kind of expensive for the packets (you get 60 packets) and I paid a bit over $56 for it. I used to use this to get my hyperglycemic cat to eat more and it helped but I'm not sure if it works for increasing bowel movements. I'm thinking maybe start using powdered pumpkin?Anyone have any advice on how to help a cat's anal glands...please respond here - thanks so much!FortiFlora has really helped my elderly cats digestion system. She had been throwing up her food, sometimes up to three times a day. Changing brands of cat food would help for a while, but then the vomiting would start again. I'm sure it wasn't fun for her and it wasn't fun for us cleaning up the mess. The vet recommended this product and gave us a few sample packets. After just a couple of days, kitty was noticeably better. We've found that half a packet sprinkled on her food per day keeps the food in her tummy. She still urps up the occasional hairball and we'll find a mess if she has been grazing at the salad bar (my house plants), but over all, life is much better for all of us. As with all products, you mileage may vary, but it's definitely worth a try for cats with digestive issues. The price a the vet's seemed a tad on the high side, but the Amazon price seems reasonable. We've reordered several times and keep a close eye on when we are running low to make sure we do not run out. This product really amazing! i have a cat she gets diarrhea when she eats chicken but she looooves chicken so much. i boil chicken and sprinkle with this and little bit yogurt on top she is good to eat without getting sick.. My other cats loves it too.Cats love it! I only wish there was no yeast in it. One of my cats is allergic to yeast and he is the one who really needs this.My other cat loves it so much if I don't throw the wrapper out immediately she tries to eat it!I get it for her because she likes it. I only wish I could feed it to my other cat as well because he likes it as well but can't have it.It is kind of pricey so I don't use it daily.Vet recommended Flora Forte to stimulate my elderly cat’s appetite. She loves the flavor.yI have used this product for years. I have 7 cats & they get it on their food every day. They have no URIs, no stomach problems & they like it! My only complaint is cost. I'm on SS & this is a bite. I've never seen it on a reduced/sale special. Never. That's why a 4 star instead of a 5.After nearly two years of constant diarrhea and multiple trips to the vet for multiple medications (non of which worked) my cat is diarrhea free because of FortiFlora. Such a simple solution, since he practically eats the bowl to be sure he gets every bite. He feels so much better, has put on weight, and I can stop worrying about him. He will be on this the rest of his life.
