An unconventional use, but this works really well as a travel sewing kit. One side's compartments fit a bar of beeswax perfectly, and I can store sewing clips, a lighter, a seam ripper, marking pencil, thread snips, pins, sewing needles, tweezers, and a thimble comfortably and still have some storage space.
