I've never used this style of gang box before and found it relatively easy to install. I was surprised at how secure it is.I added an additional 5 outlets to my garage and found this to be very convenient. I removed the trim from the base and cut out about 3 inches of drywall. I drilled holes in the studs and ran the wire into these boxes. Easy peazy.
