This is a very attractive well constructed box. It is made from the most gorgeous wood handsomely finished. This made a wonderful gift to my wife who greatly appreciated its beauty.I needed this for my home office to store my pens. It’s perfect.The box is lovely and seems well made, but as other reviewers have said, it smells. I am airing it out to see if the smell vanishes as it would make a nice gift, which was intended. I hope the smell vanishes otherwise I will need to return it.2 days later. I aired it out and the smell is gone so I shall keep it.This box has exceeded my expetations. I got it to hold knicknacks on my large coffee table. It's well made and fits my needs perfectly. The only problem is that it's much prettier than my coffee table.The box itself is nice, it looks good and is about the size I wanted. It’s hard to overlook the condition it arrived in though. The box arrived sticky and with a very potent smell I’m sure you saw mentioned in other reviews, I wiped it down with paper towels and cleaner and the smell persists and it’s still sticky. It is almost as if the stain did not dry fully before it was packaged. I can’t use it in its current condition because I don’t want the smell to degrade the quality of the items I was planning on storing in it. I’m letting it air out in my garage for a few days. The box does look to be good quality otherwise. If it drys out and the smell goes away I’ll update my review but considering the trouble this thing gives you on arrival I will not be revising the 3 star rating.Absolutely beautiful!!! Attention to fine details in the top ebony-mother of pearl inlays, matching grains on upper and lower sides. Even the bottom of the box is gorgeous Thula wood. There is a light incense type scent as indicated but I find it makes the box even more Morrocan exotic. Am going to have difficult time giving away this box purchased for daughter jewelry box. The expense is worth such high quality craftmanship. And … received in one day, well protected with bubble wrap and soft foam sheet. Needless to say, I am pleased with this Bazaardi box. Tried to load photos I took/edited but didn’t seem to work?This box is just gorgeous! Very well crafted - the fit is spot-on, hinges mortised, and the glossy finish is nicely done. But, the most beautiful element is the wood itself! This thuya burl is truly spectacular!It was shipped immediately and arrived caringly packaged and in a nice gift box. At this price, I certainly will be purchasing more - they would make a handsome and memorable presentation box for gifting small items.We will be using this as a jewelery box. I wish is was lined.This was a gift for my mother for her 84th birthday. She keeps a few sentimental items in it on her dresser where she can see it and admire it when she gets up and goes to bed. Thanks!This is a beautiful gift for a very dear friend.It is even more impressive than the photos!It would be nice if this box came w a card, describing the unique Thuya wood and brief history of how the wood is obtained and crafted into such lovely products!Birthday gift for nephew's chains, wallet etc. Beautiful box, nice colour and finish. Would order larger next time, but love it nonetheless.there was no measurement of the box in the add, it just said large wooden box...it's too small for what i needed it forNicely crafted but almost impossible to open because of the extra tight fitting lid.
