We have several of these. Love them. Adult and kids both use it.Great little bento box. I love the color. It's neutral so it's good for both a girl AND boy. The plastic covering keeps it cool to the touch when I put hot food into the stainless steel box. I have not had any issues with leaks (but I also haven't put anything liquid in there either as it's not really shaped for liquid foods). I have put "wet" fruit in there like watermelon and haven't had leaks. So if that's worth mentioning ... there it is. Would I call it leakproof? I don't know I haven't tried putting soupy things in there but I would never do that either ... so ....take that for what you will. It's not LARGE by any means. But it's large enough for my 2 year old's lunch. If I need something bigger for what I'm making, I use another container. For the price, I do think it's a little expensive, but I'm willing to pay for durability and functionality and it's both for me. So 5 stars it is.My 19-month-old goes to daycare and also eats a vegan diet. Because of this I have to pack her food/snacks for daycare everyday. This little bento box is the perfect size for her portions. I would say it's close to a 4"x6" size. I always put her food into the fridge so I can't comment on if this does well at keeping food cool/warm. I don't use this for food that needs to be warmed because it's not microwavable.PROS:•Great size for young toddlers.•Leak-proof design. Even with liquids.•No plastic will be touching your food.•Lid securely snaps on tight and stays in place. I've had zero issues with the snaps breaking.•Easy to hand-wash. I don't put any of my daughter's dishes in the dishwasher.CONS:*None.This little box has proved itself to be sturdy and stand up to a very rough toddler. I highly recommend. This bento box is light-weight and has good quality. We use it when eating in a restaurant. I like the fact that it contains two layers--The plastic one can be used to hold cold food and the stainless one for hot. And the lid allows us to carry the leftover or just the dirty box right after each meal and wash it at home. The box also allows our 2-yrs-old to eat on his own. Usually the bowl provided in a restaurant is too deep for him to do so; besides, such a bowl is usually made of plastic which is not ideal for holding hot food. Our son also like it because he has his own bento box just like his dad, and green is his favorite color.A fan. They are solid. We originally purchased them for children, but our dogs now use them as their food bowls. They hold exactly a cup of dog food and each dog has their own color. They are small and easy to put away or just inside the dog food bins. Probably not what the manufacturer wanted to hear, but this purchase was a new one because we were so happy with the ones we got years ago. We got a second dog and she wanted to eat out of the older dog's "think" bowl! ;) Problem solved!I really like the way these bento boxes are made but they are much too small for a full meal. They definitely are meant for toddler or a kid size meal. I read the reviews before I purchased two and I was going to return them when I saw the size. But my daughter wanted to keep them, because while they do not keep her food hot until lunchtime, it keeps it warm. I would not buy these again.I also feel they are a bit overpriced for the size.I've used these for my son's daycare for over 4 years and I love them. Great quality!I gave to my nice , she goes to primary school. it works great but I wish it could bigger... she use it for snake instead on actual lunchIt’s perfect for my 5 year old size wise. And she can open it easily. However the interior is made of such soft metal that the yellow kitchen sponge left scratches in it the first time I used it! Unable to clean without scratching. My daughter can open this. She is 4. Good size for snacks or macaroni type lunchesvery goodThe lid is broken, just 2 weeks of light use.
