The Microplane Cube Graters provide three grater blades, fine, coarse, and ribbon, for your cooking and baking needs! With built-in catch and measure functionality for up to 1 ½ cups, this kitchen gadget is small but mighty! The grater is dishwasher safe and the catch container doubles as a reusable cover and the compact design allows for easy storage.

Product Features

Microplane's cube grater makes preparing ingredients for your favorite dishes quick and convenient.

Featuring three surgical grade stainless steel blades, each with a different grating style (Fine, Ribbon & Coarse), simply rotate the grater to put the desired blade pointing up, insert back into the catch/cover and start grating.

The ingredients are conveniently collected and easily measured (up to 1.5-cups) for accurate addition to recipes, and prep mess is greatly reduced.

Reusable protective cover with lid acts as a dual-purpose measuring, or storing feature.

Top-rack dishwasher safe. Hand wash cover.

This is a wonderful little grater. It is easy to use, safer than using other microplane graters, PLUS it collects what you have grated. This is especially useful for making citrus zests! I love this cube grater.I have been a Microplane fan for a long time. When I decided to quit buying grated cheese and do it myself, I bought a Microplane grating box. Too big for small jobs. My little planes were to small for most things. This thing is perfect for my little family. I still use (and love) both of the others but for 90% of everything I need to grate, this is what I reach for.I have had so many microplanes over the years I was so sad when my last one finally needed to be replaced. In searching for a new one I found this and was hoping it would be all I wanted, since I constantly complain about trying to zest into a small bowl or container. Overall I would buy it again and have found it to be an amazing and invaluable tool based on the baking and cooking which I do.Here is how it stacks up:Pros - keeps all the zest inside, has a lid in order to keep any leftover in the fridge, and had multiple blades in one, so no need to find another tool just switch sides.Cons- takes up more space than other microplane "sticks" and is slightly harder to clean since you find zest and pieces in some of the back sides of the other blades which can be hard to get out.Like all other Microplane products I've used, this one is made with high quality materials, and it certainly is convenient to use except for one thing: I find that the plastic edge around the blades sticks up and makes it hard to grate larger items like a large block of Parmesan. It's wonderful for grating or shaving smaller items, but I think I prefer their other graters for most jobs.My only real complaint about this grater is that it's difficult to hold if you just want to grate a bit of cheese right onto your dish; since most of the flat surfaces are graters, you have to grip it by the corners awkwardly. And also, depending on which side you use, you can't measure what you've grated without pulling it apart, checking the amount, and then trying to jiggle the parts back together without squashing your cheese. Otherwise, it's so far been a good investment, and I hope it holds together longer than the cheaper plastic flat grater we had that snapped after a year.i love that it is small and you can store cheese inside it- cut off a piece of cheese stick it in the box and then pop it in the fridge now it is ready for grating next time. Everyone who sees/uses ours goes and get one.it is inexpensive and fantastic- highly recommend!I had to scrub and use multiple products beyond warm soapy water to remove the gross, sticky residue. It took me about 45 minutes to clean. Not fun.Works great and easy to store. This looked like such a clever gadget, but in real use its design flaws become all too evident. There is no satisfactory way to use two of the three graters, because the cheese then falls onto another grater and gets caught in the holes. There doesn't seem to be any way of changing the position of the graters so that the one on top is the one you want to use. An expensive mistake! I think the Good Grips container grater would have better served my needs.Quality seems fairly good, but I bought this as a gift to replace a much larger one that my parents have had for about 20 years - was disappointed to find it was a fraction of the size. Maybe it will encourage my Dad to eat less cheese, who knows?Everytime I use this I take bit off my fingers, there's no guard to use on the item you're grating so when you get to the bottom and are grating the smallest bit you end up grating your fingers a little. The Cube Grater is well made out of strong plastic and steel graters. It needs to be kept in its plastic box because the grating sides are quite sharp. It grates well and the gratings are held in the centre of the grating box until needed for use. It could be a little larger.Small yet Tough, great to keep in the fridge with a lump of Parmesan in and grate to order. Super sharp and quick.
