I purchased this CD for the Milhaud composition -- was not disappointed as it is wonderful. The Satie items are OK, though there are better ones out there. All the items on this CD were originally on Decca (or, London in the USA) Phase-4 Stereo, a real gimmick recording technique. The Stravinsky piece is an extra bonus. This is a very pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable CD which can be recommended, especially for sublime Milhaud item included. Enjoy the Satie, but find better recordings of his music elsewhere
