My cat is a sprawler, and he especially likes to sleep on his back. Head-to-tail, he's about 22 inches long and weighs about 12-15 pounds. I got him a large, and it's perfect for him. As I write this, he's stretched out corner-to-corner in this thing, totally comatose. The furry lining reminds me of cat fur, so I'm sure this thing makes cats feel like they are little kitties nestled up to momma again. What could make him feel more secure than that? The Scruff's brand is well-reviewed on Amazon's UK site as it is a UK brand (sells for 40 pounds on the UK site, which is close to 60 dollars), yet it's fairly new to the USA. This pet bed (technically, it's a dog bed) seems well-constructed, and it is more plush than expected. It is machine washable, which is awesome. I read at least one Amazon review that said this bed isn't plush on the bottom, but that has not been my experience. It has more than enough padding for my cat--it's seriously like a pillow on the bottom--and it immediately triggers his kneading instinct. There are a few negatives. At first he didn't like how it smelled. I don't think it had a particular off-putting scent, it just didn't smell like him, and he was being snobby. So, I put a towel in his old bed for a couple days, then transferred the towel to this bed, and he went right in. After a couple days, I removed the towel. Now that it smells like him, he loves it. He also loved playing in the giant box it came in.Another negative is that this bed looks super soft and expensive, and I'm feeling obligated get him a diamond collar to match. He won't even wear a collar, and that seems wasteful.Lastly, sometimes I stick my iphone in this bed and let him watch Paul Dinning's bird videos on YouTube; he likes that a lot; now I'm worried that he's spending too much time on social media. Maybe I can sign him up for an online therapy class or something.Edit: Jan 6, 2017...still going strong almost a year later. Looks like new. I've washed and dried it several times (tip: put a tennis ball or two in the dryer with it, to help keep the fluff distributed...not sure if that is necessary, but I did it and it came out fine). Cat LOVES this bed. He has three main sleep spots, but this is the only one he runs to and purrs when he lays down...he likes it THAT much. It has remained soft and plush with daily use and much kneading, well exceeding my expectations.TL;DR. Buy it, and get a big one for sprawlers. My dogs adore this bed. One of my twenty pound dog fits VERY comfortably with a lot of room, and occasionally they will both squish themselves into one and snuggle up. Looks nice, and so far stays shockingly clean. I would have thought it would be nasty and coated in fur in two seconds, but it either hides the mess really well, or is somehow pet fur resistant...honestly I wish my couch help up this well to dog fur/messes.This bed looks nice and seems to be very comfortable for our puppy. We put it in his crate, and he goes in there voluntarily to lie down in it often.Every morning when I wake up and leave my bedroom my dog would get out of his own bed and follow me out. Whether I'm getting ready to leave or just making some breakfast he'd follow me out and follow me back in.Ever since I got him this bed, he would only leave his bed if I called for him from the livingroom because he rather stay comfortable. That's how I know he loves this thing!I love it. It is much nicer than my dog current, beat up bed. I put them side by side. So far she uses what is left of the old one, but I have hopes that soon she will switch over. I am owned by a rescue dog.My small dog likes this better than her regular dog bed. Wash and dries well. My dog is handicapped and this has a low lip for easy entering. He loves this bed. My baby schnauzer snuggles in this bed with all his toys and couldn't be happier. Very soft, easy to wash (just throw the whole thing in the washer!) and despite how rough he's been with it, it's holding up quite nicely. My doggos love these. Got a pair and they were high quality for he price. Easy to clean and they don't trap hair.My dog absolutely loves this bed. Scruffs was the first bed he had when he arrived home and it is still his favourite dog bed eight years later (albeit not his original one). He has tried a few in between but his Scruffs has got to be the best so far. It is comfy and soft and looks sturdy and classy. Looks great in the any room. Hods its shape too. Id say great value for money but looking at the sales page it has gone up in price quite quickly by about £8 in a few weeks so I'd shop around.Lovely bed. I got large for my 6kg cavapoo as sometimes she likes to stretch out and it's perfect. Definitely on the bigger side but not ridiculously so, it was not as big as I expected. It's super soft and I like that it is all in one piece as my dog is less likely to chew on it. She clearly likes it and has slept in it from the day it arrived. The only problem that I have is that my children think that it is so soft and comfy that they can often be found curled up in it!Bought this bed for my 8 month old Westie pup and when it arrived I first thought I should have got the large one. However, it's actually a perfect size for him as he likes to curl up in it.Sadly he has already pulled some stuffing out of it, but it wouldn't be the first bed he's tried to ruin! Not the product's fault at all.Great value for money....looks comfy :)This is the second bed like this we have purchased and our dog literally jumps into it as soon as she sees it. The inside is so soft and can be washed which is brilliant. The outside is attractive. My family have purchased the blue version for when my dog goes to stay at theirs and it's also very smart. This Dog bed was delivered quickly and looks lovely and snug, Mylittle Bichon Freise jumped in it straight away. However, the dimentions say 60cm x 50cm and in the picture it looks blong. when I unpacked it, it is a slightly smaller than expected. 50cm x 50cm. is more square than oblong. I just hope my dog doesn't out grow it.
