It’s simple design is exactly what I wanted to display some of my special crystal slabs and cabs. A really beautiful vintage looking design but nice thick strong acrylic. Exactly what I’ve been looking everywhere for. And finally found! I do wish it came with velvet or felt padding but I can figure something out.The pictures indicate that there is a black liner for the bottom of the box.This item was purchased to showcase a white item on the black liner - which was not with the item.I really like this. It seems well made, and I looked far and wide for literally exactly this (acrylic, on the larger side, and semi-shallow, hinged-lid) bingo! This checked off all the boxes! I thought the price was too high for what it really is, but I see the value in my purchase , as it serves my purpose perfectly!UPDATE + QUESTION FOR SELLER:So, the bottom, bottomed-out shortly after I got it! I guess it’s not a great seal holding the acrylic sides and bottom together?! Of course, I noticed the flaw right after the return window closed. Of note, I did not stack or place anything ontop , ever, and only gently used, basically as a stash box lol. There’s really nothing else on the market with this particular design, size, and functionality, so my question for the seller: I’D LIKE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER IF YOU COULD PROVIDE SOME KIND OF DISCOUNT OR GET A FREE REPLACEMENT.
