While this is pricier than typical bobbin holders or even a tackle box - I liked the fact that the rubber insert grips the bobbins to keep them from falling out. It also makes it easier for me to just pick a single one out.It's exactly as described - so 5 stars. My only wish for improvement in future versions would be that the box have a bit of an inset on the lid so that they can be stacked easier.Bobbins are snug, you can position so the loose thread is down. Which is especially nice. Like to wind many bobbins at a time so always have 'em ready to go. Have several, one for whites, blues, greens, etc. Also different machines with different bobbins-top of case is easy to write on with Sharpie so always know what I'm grabbing.I already have one but need more.Good bobbin holder if you have multiple colored threadsThreads stay tidy, bobbins are secure, lots of space for multiple bobbins. And you get two for $10! Fun side note, I was like “This product is terrific, but WHAT is with that weird tab? Can I cut that off?” Turns out I can HANG the bobbin box (bobbins don’t move because of the foam) and not only save shelf space, but have quick access.I'm so glad I found these! I have a number of different sewing machines that use different bobbin styles, so they help me keep them separated and easy to find. They also keep the thread from unwinding all over my drawer and creating a huge, annoying, multicolored tangle! If you're more than a casual sewist, you might want to give these a try.Great to keep my bobbins with different weights and manufacturers separate.I received two as a gift, love ‘em so much I bought myself more. They hold my bobbins nicely and control the unruly thread ends.Highly recommended.I especially like the foam as there is no need to secure the end of the thread, bobbins are held by the foam. Bobbins don't move. Each container holds 28 bobbins. Great price for 2 boxes.I am a bit concerned about the back hinge, at some point it will wear and split open and I will have to tape it. However, I am sure it will last a long time. Too bad the back didn't have 2 smaller hinges like the one on the front. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.Highly recommend.I been sewing off and on for over 30 years and the storage boxes for bobbins are a pain!! You can get them into the storage, but there was no room to grab them or take them out, unless you have tweezers for fingers!I saw these when I did a search and thought, give it a shot and I am so so glad I did!!Great storage, easy to get them out and the latch keeps it shut for storing the case!I TOTALLY recommend these cases for storage, you won't be disappointed.I love that the bobbin spools stay secure and threads are not all over the place.
