Love this thread storage! I had ALL my thread on the wall. Very handy and could see every spool, every color. Problem was, so could my new kitty! She was obsessed with my threads! She ruined several spools before I got this storage container. We mounted it to the wall where my pegs once was and it's great! I can open it and see all my colors but most importantly, my cat can't get to them! I WILL order another one as just one isn't enough for all my spools. I do a lot of alterations, mostly pageant and prom gowns....any formals so I have to keep every possible color on hand. Love this storage box!!!! And yes, it holds most any size thread. I had been concerned about that but it's not a problem. If the spool isn't too long it will also accommodate the matching bobbin! UPDATE.....I just ordered my 4th storage box! I love these. Makes it so easy to see my thread's at a glance. I mentioned I do formal wear alterations so many colors on hand is an absolute must. Now I have picked up my local dry cleaners alterations so I'm finding I need even more colors! I just ordered a gross of 100 different color spools of thread and quickly realized I didn't have no where enough empty spaces so, like I said, I just ordered #4. I can't recommend these enough! I love my thread's on the wall so I can see it all at a glance!!! If you're looking for thread storage, I feel you can't go wrong and will not be disappointed!!!
